'Exercise Mitra Shakthi' Nears Culmination
December 14, 2019Troops of both Indian Army and Sri Lankan Army, now on the verge of culminating their joint, 'Exercise-Mitra Shakthi' at Shivaneri demonstration village in Pune, India rehearsed final operational tasks with focus on general strategic planning.
After the day's opening narratives and briefings were made and basic guidelines for the day's preparations were announced, both contingents started their actions and completed it before dusk.
As part of a socialization segment, a birthday and a wedding anniversary of Sri Lanka and an Indian officer, engaged in the Exercise were celebrated upon completion of the day's routine. The Exercise is scheduled to end on 15 December 2019.
