Navy's Asymmetric Warfare Course 2019 begins

The Asymmetric Warfare Course (AWC) 2019 organized by the Sri Lanka Navy commenced on Monday (07 January 2019). According to Navy media, the course is conducted by the Special Boat Squadron (SBS) at the eastern port city of Trincomalee.

Thirty-two (32) military personnel from Bangladesh, China, India, Indonesia, Maldives, Pakistan, the Netherlands and Sri Lanka are taking part in this twelve-week-long training programme. It is expected that the course will enable the participants to acquire a good knowledge and exposure of Sri Lanka Navy's Asymmetric Warfare experience. The training programme will go on till the 02nd of April (2019).
