3rd expert level Staff Talks between Sri Lanka-Pakistan Navies in Colombo
July 25, 2019The 3rd round of expert level Staff Talks between the Sri Lanka Navy (SLN) and Pakistan Navy (PN) successfully concluded on Wednesday (24 July 2019). According to Navy media, the two day 'Staff Talks' commenced at the at the Lighthouse Galley in Colombo on Tuesday (23).
The 13 member SLN delegation was led by Director Naval Operations, Commodore Sanjeewa Dias while the Pakistan Navy delegation was led by Assistant Chief of Naval Staff Operational Plans, Commodore Khyber Zaman TI (M).
The visiting Pakistani delegation was welcomed by Navy's Director General Operations, Rear Admiral Niraja Attygalle on the inaugural day.
Deliberations were held in a cordial and friendly manner, highlighting the importance of mutual relations and strengthening bilateral cooperation.
